General Education Teacher

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

Essential Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum

• Deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned with curriculum goals

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that address diverse student needs

• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to support whole-group, small-group, and individualized learning

• Establish clear learning objectives and monitor student progress toward mastery

Classroom Environment

• Create and maintain a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom culture

• Set and uphold high academic and behavioral expectations

• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment

Student Assessment & Support

• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback and required reports

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance

• Collaborate with specialists and staff to support students with identified learning needs

Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal requirements

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school committees

• Supervise teacher assistants, student teachers, or volunteers as assigned

• Support and uphold the mission and educational philosophy of Victory Collegiate Academy

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of instructional best practices for elementary and/or middle grades

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Familiarity with applicable educational policies and procedures

• Ability to analyze and use student data to inform instruction

• Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and sound judgment

• Commitment to continuous professional growth
