Victory Collegiate Academy (VCA) has participated in shaping the Canyon Center for Character Education (CCCE) program, particularly through their involvement in the advisory board along with providing insight to their very own Character Education model used at VCA. This partnership underscores VCA's commitment to character education and its recognition within the broader educational community.

Being part of the CCCE Advisory Board allows VCA's executive team to collaborate closely with seasoned educators to advance character education initiatives. This role not only involves participating in learning experiences and networking but also sharing valuable insights gained from different character education models and programs.

Changing Lives Outreach Program
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Victory Schools has been engaged with the Changing Lives Outreach Program since 2022. GCU’s undergraduate behavioral health students volunteer in our schools to help our students with tier one counseling and support. In addition, this support turns into mentorship for our students. Through involvement in this program, GCU students are able to impact lives in a meaningful way while gaining hands-on experience in the behavioral health field.
GCU Learning Lounge
K-12 Learning Lounge
As part of our community outreach efforts, The GCU Learning Lounge is a complimentary in-person and online tutoring program for K-12 Students, and led by an amazing group of current GCU undergrad students. Each year, Victory Collegiate Academy sends a cohort of 50-100 kids to the Learning Lounge to receive tutoring in Math, Reading, Science and more.
GCU Athletics
Athletic Department (VCA x GCU NIL)
This partnership between GCU and VCA allows for GCU's student athletes to partake in mentorship, as well as skill and relationship building with VCA students. This includes guest speaking, facilitating character lessons, attending sports games and practices, one on one coaching, training and more.

College Education
Victory Schools has been partnered with GCU’s Top Tier College of Education since 2018. GCU students who aspire to teach early childhood, elementary, secondary or special education attend Victory Schools as interns, student teachers, and more - many of these students have joined the Victory Schools team directly following their time within our schools.

College of Nursing and Healthcare Professions
GCU’s College of Nursing and Health Care Professions prepares students for numerous healthcare roles as qualified professionals educated in direct care, management, health education and administration. In partnership with Victory Autism Academy, these GCU students have the opportunity to work numerous hours with a wide range of youth on all levels of the Autism Spectrum.

GCU offers customized professional development and training for Victory Schools. These PD's are designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of our staff by aligning educational strategies with our school's unique goals and values. GCU tailors their delivery to address specific areas of improvement, whether it's integrating innovative teaching methods, leveraging new technologies, or improving student engagement techniques. Partnering with GCU K-12 Outreach and Professional Development instructors ensures that every training session is relevant, practical, and immediately applicable, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence within our schools.

As advisory board members of GCU’s College of Education, the executive team at Victory Schools has the opportunity to network with a phenomenal team of educators, administrators, and more, all committed to innovating and improving education. GCU’s Educational Alliances support the advancement of instruction and learning with the belief that strong education systems and outstanding educators can nurture student learning and ignite greater academic success. The Victory Schools executive team has been instrumental in driving educational development for public, private, and charter schools, including our own network, aiming to enhance education for vulnerable and underserved populations.

Thunder Vision
Thunder Vision gives middle school students the chance to visit GCU and experience a campus tour, college readiness presentation, and lunch with our mascot, Thunder! While on campus, they can talk to current college students about GCU, college in general, and the best steps to take now to prepare for life after high school.

Lope Scope
K-6 students have the opportunity to experience an exciting trip to GCU, take a campus tour and participate in a scavenger hunt on campus. They also will learn some GCU trivia while visiting, and have lunch with Thunder, the mascot.
Lopes Lead with Character
Lopes Lead with Character
Lopes Lead with Character is a student group at Grand Canyon University centered around character and virtue formation for on campus and virtual students! Through this group, students focus on their personal views and biases, develop virtue literacy, and take on perspectives in ethical decision making. Learning about character and virtue formation is a healthy component of understanding individual identity and becoming the best version of yourself!
