Victory Schools is proud to release the Summer 2026 edition of The Victory Voice, our district magazine highlighting the students, staff members, programs, partnerships, and community members advancing our mission.

This edition arrives during an exciting season of growth for Victory Schools. Across our organization, we are expanding educational pathways, creating more opportunities for students, investing in athletics, strengthening our campuses, and preparing young people for meaningful futures beyond the classroom.

Expanding Opportunity Through Athletics

One of the issue’s featured stories celebrates a $10,000 Sports Matter Grant awarded to Victory Foundation by DICK’S Sporting Goods. This investment will help remove financial barriers that often prevent students with disabilities and those from underserved communities from participating in competitive athletics.

The funding will support uniforms, equipment, tournament fees, adaptive resources, and the continued growth of programs such as Victory Hooptown and Special Olympics. Readers will also learn about the upcoming launch of Victory Hooptown Girls, which will create additional competitive basketball opportunities for female student-athletes throughout the communities we serve.

Creating New Educational Pathways

The Summer Edition introduces several innovative programs designed around the individual needs and future goals of Victory students.

Victory Horizon LifeWorks provides young adults graduating from Victory Autism Academy with continued support as they prepare for employment, independent living, community engagement, and adulthood. Through hands-on instruction, work-based learning, and partnerships with local businesses, students build practical skills and confidence in real-world environments.

Victory Bridge offers students in grades 9–12 a supported transition from a highly specialized educational setting into a less restrictive high school environment. Located at Victory Futures Academy, the program allows students to develop greater independence while continuing to receive individualized academic, therapeutic, and behavioral support.

Victory Online Academy is also redefining personalized education by combining the flexibility of virtual learning with meaningful in-person connections. Students can complete courses remotely while continuing to access teachers, therapies, athletics, clubs, field trips, school events, and regional support hubs.

Together, these programs demonstrate Victory’s commitment to meeting students where they are while preparing them for where they are going.

Recognizing the People Behind the Mission

This edition also shines a well-deserved spotlight on Victory’s Maintenance Team. Their work ensures that every campus remains safe, clean, functional, and welcoming—but their impact goes far beyond maintaining buildings.

Maintenance team members regularly share practical knowledge with students, introduce them to mechanical and construction skills, and serve as mentors throughout our campuses. Their dedication is a powerful example of what it means to do Whatever It Takes for students.

Victory Schools is also excited to welcome Nicole Voigt as our new Executive Director of Operations. Nicole joins the organization during an important period of expansion and will help strengthen the systems, resources, and operational support that allow our schools and educators to succeed.

Growing Our Impact

Readers will receive an update on the new Autism Academy for Education and Development Queen Creek Middle and High School. The expansion will create space for approximately 60 additional students while providing sensory-friendly classrooms, individualized instruction, related therapies, transition planning, and extracurricular opportunities.

The magazine also celebrates the success of Victory Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament and looks ahead to the first annual For The Kids Poker Tournament. Funds raised through these events support scholarships, adaptive athletics, emergency family assistance, specialized therapies, assistive technology, post-secondary opportunities, and other programs serving students and families across Arizona and Mexico.

The Summer 2026 edition of The Victory Voice is ultimately a celebration of progress. Every story reflects the same belief: all students deserve the opportunity to learn, belong, compete, grow, and build a successful future.
